How to Sign Up for Kids’ Mutton Bustin’ at Prescott’s World’s Oldest Rodeo – Register by June 21st!

Looking for a fun way to get your kids involved in the rodeo? During the Fourth of July weekend, the World's Oldest Rodeo in Prescott will host Mutton Bustin' for young cowboys and cowgirls! This unique event allows kids ages 4–7, weighing 55 pounds or less, to experience the thrill of riding a sheep. Here’s all the information you need to get your little ones involved:

Dates and Times:

  • Day Performances: July 6th and 7th at noon

  • Night Performances: July 1st–July 6th at 6:00 PM

Entry Fee: $15 per child

Registration Deadline: June 21st

Eligibility:

  • Ages 4-7

  • 55 lbs. or less

Limited Spots: 12 children per night, first come, first served.

Check-In: If selected, arrive at the designated check-in time.
